I actually updated both of my ESC's K160's and without thinking it through to test one before updating both and now I can not get either to engage.

I'm stumped... When I plug them in to the progdic and usb it recognizes update 3.2 but nothing when I plug in the lipo's to reset mode 1, then 4. Power running through the heli but no sounds, will not let me get into setup mode and it will not let me use the progdisc.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.

If your KOSMIK did not work after update - you have one of the first KOSMIK which got no hardware update - plese send in for the necessary hardware update.

Yes, if they are from the first batch there was a notice that these need to go back for a hardware update.

Good news, and the update has been working for me.

When you say first batch, are you referring to production date and if so they can't be as they both had 3.1 on them.

I did, and as much of a bummer as it is, off they will go in the morning.

If I were not a grown man I would be crying now. Our weather finally broke and I planned on flying tomorrow and through the weekend and now, both TRD and Diabolo are down... Ugh!

Oh man..so sorry to read this Ray.

So....what is the update going to do? Is it really necessary to do the update if everything is working fine?

"The KOSMIK is setting new standards and unleashing the ultimate power from motors. Exceeding the 10kW threshold in some motors has triggered the KOSMIK's internal protection circuit and given the pilot an error code. KOSMIK 3.2 firmware increases this acceptable threshold via an intelligent control algorithm, which allows the KOSMIK to continue communication. Internal protection circuitry remains vigilant, and will continue to provide a margin of safety for your helicopter.

For the new KOSMIK 3.2 firmware, along with both a new manual and .ini file for LogVIEW, please visit our download area."

I may hold back for now if this is not necessary and maybe do it when I get my Pyro 750.

Many thanks Satnam... A total bummer for sure, but I felt like with the motors I'm running I needed to do it.

Just wondering also. They include an ini with the update. Do we have to reprogram this ini for reading telemetry of the kosmik with the new update?

WoH Pyro 700-35. However, DHL came today while I was out with my 750-56, and so assuming I would be swapping it out tomorrow I thought what the heck, I'll update the Kosmik, you know, just incase I start beating it hard. Then I have a competition 700-500 coming direct from Kontronik.

I'm guessing both of these would have been ok with the old firmware but I wanted to be safe. In the end it really does not matter because I would have to have them updated anyways right...

Does anyone know what serial numbers are considered as the "first batch" with update issues? Mine is 00318.
