I am new in the world of flying helis. Unfortunately my Belt CP was on the landing pad for some time. I attempted to get it in the air again but without success. When I connect the battery the servos are adjusting all the time without the controls.
Need advice on troubleshooting or what to do.

Hello FlyHigh1.

Please post what radio you have with your Belt CP. Maybe your Radio isn't correctly paired with the receiver. From what you describe it sounds like the heli don't receive controls from the radio.
Have you turned on your radio before connecting the battery to the Heli ?

Also, what do you mean by your heli being on the landing pad? If you mean it literally as in the heli sitting outside in the rain, the chances are the servos got wet and potentiometers in them are covered with residue, resulting in false position reading, hence the haunting.

If that's the case at least a disassembly and thorough cleaning with electric contact cleaner is in order, possibly even servo replacement.

I took it to mean that it had been benched for some time, but using an aeronautical term just for fun. However, in fairness, after my Belt-CP was benched for a while all my servos were effectively useless, and they were SG90s, which were better than stock, as we know, so your point would still be entirely possible even if it had been inside like mine. Unlike my DX7, which as we all know was drenched, for quite some time! Still good though.

Cheers

Sutty

I would recommend that you
1. rebind the Heli with your Transmitter
2. Replace servos

Before all of the above try with a fully charged battery to see if you still get the same results

Do we know he have a DX7 with his Belt CP ?
FlyHigh1 haven't reported back what setup he got. Until he does it's quite hard to give good advice.
