Hm... My e-logger suddenly logs a VERY incorrect voltage...
Hi guys,
I set up my new e-logger yesterday, and went for a quick fly just to check that everything was okay. I learned today that I misjugded the RPM ratio a bit, but apart from that all was good. So today, I soldered the connectors and heat-shrunk them, and was generally happy about myself. Now, after test flight nr2 I noticed that my voltage readings were WAY off, same with amps (and watts). Anybody had this happen? Just to be sure I pulled it out of my bird and connected a 3S lipo to measure, and this battery is read as a 70Volt-batt(!). Attached some charts of before and after: Yesterday. All good. My 6S lipo read correctly at about 25 Volts: Today: Weirdness. My 3S test-batt shows up as a 79-volt package (!) I've tried rezeroing the sensors also, but the results stay the same... Any pointers deeply appreciated. I just got my e-logger back from a warranty case and I would absolutely hate to send it back in after a day...

here is one more from today - this is an actual flight on my T-rex 600 (stock 6-cell) while trying out different RPMs. As you can see, both Voltage and amps are way off.

Update:
This was solved by updating to the Beta version of the Data Recorder software, and performing a calibration (Advanced-->Calibrate Voltage and Current). Problem solved.

Why are these units not calibrated from the factory?
I experienced this in my new eLogger I just installed a few days ago. My Logo 600 was registering 65amp peaks with a Scorpion 4035 at +/-14 degrees pitch, which I knew was way too low. Then I found the calibration tool, but you need a good reference instrument that will show the correct amps. My readings were consistant from flight to flight, but 60% lower than actual. I had a cheap digital amp meter I used for calibration, but I'm sure that this $10 item isn't spot on. I guess I'm under the expectations that any measuring tool should be calibrated with the propper equipment prior to shipping to end users.
