I know that the 'Orange RX' works with spektrum also.

I put a bunch of videos up. Hope they make sense. I have a hard time communicating what I'm thinking.

OK just thinking out loud here. The linkage from the servos to the swash is that the right length or enough to be adjusted?

Just want to make sure I have what I need and am not waiting for parts. Where I live its all mail order no align parts here in town. Thanks for your time.

I had my pots flat, where they came stock. Got the jitters during flight where it started shaking and doing the dolphin thing. (on a 450)

Had to turn pots 1 & 2 down just a bit, works fine now.

Did you have a digital pitch gauge to aide in setup?

No I wanted to but I went with the little aluminum thing you slide a flybar into and use a regular pitch gauge. I found a carbon rod that fit tight and gave a nice straight reference. I always wondered what the Hell that thing was.

Whats the ETA on the motor? You will have to let us know what your final thoughts are after a proper test.

Is there any way to read/change parameters? Since the firmware is a copy of the Beastx, is there a way to use the Beastx USB adaptor to read the parameters? If there is a newer software version, can we do that by ourself or the unit has to be sent back for the update?

Today or tomorrow, hoping today and will try to get a video as well, I am no 3d pilot so this will be a test of someone that has been flying for 6-7 months. But I felt comfortable enough with it before I wanted to take it for a circuit, but chose my better judgement. Can't wait!!!

Everything I have been reading it will not work with the beastx updates

Apparently the official firmware updates contain some kind of copy protection that only allows it to work with real BeastX units. Updating an HB800 with it will brick the unit.
