True, that's a crapload of LEDs though. I had 8 LEDs per blade and I would probably do 6 next time.

I agree. 6 LEDs is plenty bright and a good load for a small lipo cell.

I use a 160mAh Turnigy Nanotech cell and 5 LEDs pulling a little over 80mA total. I can have those blades burning for over 100min continously on one charge

Default Dogzilla

This is my 120 SR that I rigged up some LED's from radioshack on. I made a Y connector from the battery to run the LED's. My dog just happened to be standing in the background while taking the picture, but it turned out well.

been flyign a LOT at night this winter and love it ! Definitely gave the slightly aged Raptor 90SE a new lease in life being the dedicated night bird. i`m using a brushed ESC as dimer for my LED setup.

Blades are MS Composit Campion 690 night blades.

New set of night blades. finished them yesterday. They fly great!

My best flight was not recorded. silly camera battery crapped out again in the cold.

My friend Stu at Cyclone Hobbies just finished fixing up my N5c for the night flying at Birmingham next week end. I can't wait!

This bird has a set of 600mm Red/Green Night Magic blades as well.

well, if you like my pictures you should watch the Videos... the controller is selfmade and it is made for showflights like the DALCON, but it can do much more
The software that u see in the videos is old (some months), I programmed many more effects which look better
