Just to let everyone know. I will be releasing the videos on DVD in a few weeks!!! I'm also building a website to make ordering them easier and faster. More details coming soon.

I apologize but I simply don’t have the time to do this which includes burning the CDs, packaging, address labels, and ship them out. I know it sounds trivial but my time is better spent making more videos for you all.

However Freak user Lithiumstatic (Jeremy) has agreed to do this for me! But it wont be free as I want to see the man at least break even or make a small buck for his time and effort. Thus I am giving Jeremy rights to distribute my videos on CD to anyone that wants them on CD! He and I agreed on a fair price to you all so he breaks even and makes a buck for his time. Trust me he wont get rich and is doing this as a favor to me and you. He will be asking $12 which covers shipping in the US. I think that is fair and so you know I wont see a dime of this as my videos are intended to be free from me and I don’t want to get in the business of making money off them.

Please note: The videos he is putting on CD are the same WMV files at the same compression quality as download here from the Freak. Later if there is enough interest I will provide Jeremy the DVD quality files for distribution on DVD. That may be a future project.

All orders to Jeremy will be through this post here on Helifreak. Thats the only way to request one right now.

So with that I will let Jeremy give you the details.

Jeremy…. Take it away!

Bob

Bob - I have converted all of your videos to Podcast format for iPod. I see you're selling the vids now, so I don't want to post the link until I hear from you directly - don't want to step on toes.... please email me - mark@palmbeachsoftware.com and let me know if you want to charge for these as well...if not, I can post it publicly, and HOST FOR FREE as well. I'd like to give something back to you and the forum if possible.

Thanks,
Mark

Mark, as long as they are offered free I have no problems. Send me a link to them when you get them posted and if you could give a prop to Helifreak or something that would be even better!

Hi Bob - absolutely NO PROBLEM!

http://www.radio2podcast.com

Look at the top left column - new podcasts - you're on top!

I have a special direct page for you, too:
http://www.radio2podcast.com/Podcast...t/Podcast.html

Let me know what you would like me to post, and I certainly will.

Thanks for all of your help (this is for the future, should have my first Trex flight this weekend!)

Your vids Kick A$$, and should be a "hint" for kit manufacturers, too.

As you create more, let me know, and I can add them here.

Thanks,
Mark Turkel

Cool looks great!
Just post something like Join Helifreak.com to discuss or ask questions about these videos from Bob himslef! You know something like that so people know where to find me if they need to ask a question.

I stopped by a hobby shop in San Diego county yesterday, and what to my surprise did I see? A disc with the words "Bob White T-Rex Videos" written in nearly illegible Sharpie, right next to the T-Rex kits.

I asked them about the disc, and they told me that they give one to everybody that buys a T-Rex. They told me that in fact they ask their customers to burn a copy for themselves and bring the original disc back to the shop.

I thought that to be a nice thing to do for new T-Rex customers.

Interesting but it would have been nice if they asked me if they could do this!
Glad to hear they are not charging for it at least.

I guess it would have been nice had they asked. The next time I'm down there, which might be a while, I'll ask them politely to get in contact with you so that they can at least get your permission after the fact.

To all you guys/girls asking about the DVDs they are still not available. So if you place an order just be informed that it's the same thing in quality and format as what you download here.

Happy Flying!!!!!

A little bit off topic but why don't you make any build videos of nitro machines, such as a 30 sized evo or raptor. Beginners could use that info alot since those are also popular first helis. Is it because the cost is more.

Well here is the deal.... I would be gald to do nitro build vids but I am not going to go out and BUY a Raptor 30 myself. If Ace wants to send me one to do it I would gladly do it. So far all my vids are either of Heli's I bought or were sent to me in trade for doing a build vid.

My last Nitro I built was my Vibe 90 and I wasnt doing build videos then.

Hey Bob,

You wouldn't happen to have any vids of your Sceadu Evo 50 build, would you?

Do you ever fly your nitros? It seems like you've devoted most of your time to the electrics recently. Nothing against electris, I'm just curious...

Thanks,

Chibers
