What type of servo pins and housings Kontronik uses on their servo/BEC cables? I'm making some longer BEC cables for the Goblin, and am wondering if my Hansenhobbies pins will be decent enough for the Jive Pro?

I looked at Kontroniks crimps and connectors and they are full gold plated and very nicely crimped. Pins also look a bit different and of higher quality vs. most pins I see for sale in bulk. Their plastic black housings also say "Germany" on them and also look nicer than most.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to buy higher quality components for making leads/extensions?

They have outstanding assortments of wires, crimpers, servo housings, etc. I make my own extensions and modifications on the servos and the quality in my opinion is best out there.

Ha, yes I too am using all of Hansenhobies stuff. Crimpers, wire, pins etc. was just curious if there was a source for the type Kontronik uses. I'll just quit worrying about it and use the existing supplies. Will agree though, Hansenhobbies is a one stop shop for sure, fortunate to have a place like that out there.

Great crimpers and cabling accessories.
Also, remember to always use pins and housings from the same manufacturer designed to work together.
