With the arrival of the micro ubrain, do you think a micro protos is coming?

Pitch pimp , huh. Will it smack me around if I don't fly hard enough. All joking aside , more options are always a good thing.

Corrado mentioned in the big thread in the 180x forum that no micro is currently in the pipeline.

If MSH made a micro Protos, I would be among the 1st to buy one [emoji7]

Default Micro protos?

Now I have a uBrain on my 180cfx, I can see the potential of a 200mm single belt uProtos. How fantastic would that be!
One barrier (not withstanding designing and building it in the first place) is companion components. Maybe now the uBrain exists, there may be more interest from the servo vendors to provide options(?).
Fingers crossed - the uBrain on the 180cfx is a joy. Just want a better airframe now.

I also think that the most difficult hurdle for a truly small Protos just has been taken, a legit (not cloned or crippled) micro FBL controller. I thought MSH would never do this, but here we go!

That being said Corrado just shot down plans for a 250 or smaller sized Protos in a recent thread

Also you´re absolutely right about the rest of the components. Current servo offerings are either too heavy (450 size) or of questionable quality (HK servos). That would not be the environment I´d want to bring a new heli to market.

Curious about the announced Oxy2, but judging from the Oxy3 I don´t hold my breath for a lightweight fully belted heli

I can see the hesitance. The Oxy3 is a brilliant execution using standard components. It's a quality airframe with a large choice of supporting components (except for maybe motor choices).
Don't think I'd hesitate buying an Oxy2, but would like to have a choice and then buy both [emoji3]

I'd love a micro protos, but can't see it happening.
If the Oxy 2 is better than the 180CFX, then it will be an awesome heli. The 180 is by far the best micro I've ever flown.

I don't understand why he would shoot down the idea, seems like it would sell, it's not like there is a lot of competition in the 200-250mm size range. Trex 250, Gaui x2, Blade 300 and now the Oxy 3. If MSH stepped up and made a 200mm size micro Protos I'm sure it would crush the Tree with the only thing Align would have against MSH is parts availability and even then MSH is catching up (or Align is falling back).
