Default New N5C and need a little help with some resources.

So I was cruising through the Synergy booth at IRCHA. I walked in empty handed. I walked out with a N5C in my hand. I don't remember anything that happened in between!

Actually I got this bad boy to replace my Velocity 50's.

So I would like some help with the possibility of adding a carbon fiber boom. I know it will be more expensive to crash but I really want one. I just think they look sexy.

Also I would like some suggestions on landing gear options. I do not like white gear. I really want black struts and black pipes. Anyone use anything besides the stock landing gear? Pics and links would be great.

And one last thing. There is a lot of pre-assembled parts in this kit. I am assuming that they all need to be taken apart and loctite applied and rebuilt. Yes?

Actually one more last thing. Any tips for getting the bearing race to slide into the tube easily? It was a real pain on my other heli.

Thank you!

Assemblies are loosely fitted to make sure all the parts are included, nothing is loctited out of the box.

For the torque tube bearings, I put a little grease on the holder before inserting it, seems to help it slide better.

Align landing gear works great, just have to drill new holes in the gear to match the stock setup. Cheap, strong, and available in a bunch of different colors. You may be able to dye the stock gear, people have done it with other helis, never tried on a synergy but it should take dye just fine.

no option for a carbon boom.

use liquid silicone spray for TT bearing cups and O-rings. spray the inside of the boom first, then spray each bearing cup individually and they will slide in very easily.
