Default Extend lead on phase sensor?

I'm working on getting a gov working with a Hyperion phase sensor (pic below) and it would be 10x easier to extend the phase sensor instead of moving around components. I know some things don't like to be extended--can I put a standard servo extension on the phase sensor to get the signal back to my VBar? Or should the power lead be extended, or should neither be? Thanks for any input.

You can extend the leads on either end of the sensor with no issues.
