Default New Product from RC Logger

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a light FPV set up for my Trex 700, I mainly want to Record HD video from a go-pro and then use the FPV monitor RX TX as a view finder. I am not looking for something that has a range much further than a mile if that. The link below is a new product from RC logger, I don't have a clue of what brands are good and bad. Does any one know if this is good?

Looked at this a little more in depth and found it only has a 1000ft range, I think that is less than what I am looking for. I really liked the monitor mount on the radio though. Does any one know of anything similar with a higher wattage TX?

You need serious equipment for 1 mile range. Look at the Lawmate stuff (Rangevideo) avoid 5.8 Ghz, 2.4 Ghz (unless you are UHF) but 1.2 Ghz with at 500-1000 Mw with cloverleaf/Skew Planar should work for you.

Hi, it does go well beyond 1000 ft It all depends whether you activate the power boost or not (internal jumper). If you are in the US you may want to contact Adam at us_rep@rclogger.com. He has done some extensive testing and can comment on his experience.

Instructions can be found here.

Chris.
