You can leave the nav light power out where it is if you like and use sbus port for bec power in, or vice versa.

The sbus is powering the reciever. can I use a splitter to power the nav lights and the reciever? The nav lights are not uesd all the time,just for show.

Yes, either way you suggested using a splitter would be ok.

Ok, so how much voltage should I give the 3gx from this bec?
I don't want to take a chance of it not having enough power.

Maximum voltage is 8.5v. However, as its on a 450 im assuming you're using LV servos so set the Bec for 6.oV and you'll be good.

Thanks, it has ds415's, and a ds520 on the tail. Scorpion 2580 kv motor, phoenix ice 50a esc. 4s lipos in a scale fuse. It weighs about 2 1/2 lbs.
