Default Anti-rotation bracket

Deet - looking at your before and after shots again, the blades/grips look like they could possibly strike the A-R bracket. Is that just the photo angle, or is really close?

Cheers - AC

its about 4mm clearance, and it cannot hit

If you got that much movement that close to the main shaft you have a serious issue

Where did you find your head shims for the main shaft? I had before the old style head with the collar. I'm now installing the dfc head... There is a great deal of slop.

Thanks

I am kinda new to this DFC head setup. I like the looks and from what everyone says, it's a great setup. My question is (and please be gentle)...No more washout base? It looks a lot cleaner, i'm just a bit confused being new to FBL.

The rigid links at the grips keep the swash in phase with the head, thus replacing the need for a traditional swash lock with mixing arms

Thanks for the input. I just ordered everything needed for a complete head for $97.14 on Experience RC. I am waiting to hear back about a 3GX unit. I am a sport flier, so I think it will suit me just fine!

I was just looking at the BeastX. I am thinking of the new Spektrum AR7200BX. Would clean up the heli a lot.

My 3rd flight on my DFC went wrong too. Didn't leave the ground though.. I think I waggled the elevator stick just before lift off .. But me forgetting now on beastx the swash returns slowly and give it more throttle ... Nose first into ground... BLades gone, TT, Boom, Ar bracket, Main gear, TT front gears and canopy pegs....... Still got straight Main shaft Lol.. DFC survived unscathed...

Ordered parts todaay. Converting to Helical main with 11t pinion.

Chris..
