Nano. The BL is fine for a gym, but it is too powerful for inside a house.

If by indoor you mean a basketball gym, than the BL is fine. If you mean a living room, it will draw blood and scratch dry wall. BL is more of a large back yard or park flyer, especially if you're just starting out.

I got one so I could work on inverted in my living room and it was just too damn squirrely and unpredictable to fly in a small space. So the only time I could really fly it was at the field. And if I'm at the field with a 450, the BL is underwhelming.

You mentioned "beginner" in another thread.

Indoor.....CP......beginner.....any two out of three will work. Three out of three, not so much.

But, you did ask for best indoor CP. I suggest phoenix or real flight brand of indoor CP as best choice.

That post was 10 months ago. Since then I have been sending some time on Phoenix and need something physical to crash. I have been doing a little research and am leaning toward the nano.

My bad. Just saw a bunch of posts from you all together and did not check dates.

My current favorite micro CP is the 130X. In fact, my current favorite of any size is the 130 X.

I have pretty much fallen out of love with all the others-ncpx BL, mcpx, mcpx BL.

All of the micro CP helicopters have worked well for me at one time or another outdoors and over grass. None of em have worked well when flown in close proximity to hard objects.

For indoors and crashing, sure, the nano.

They are similar but there are few (if any) parts suppliers in the US.

I'd suggest mCPX v2 or nano. I have the v1 and extended the tail myself. Does good enough for me inside or out and it's what I performed my first inverted hovers on outside of realflight.

Oh.. and just a FYI.. the trick to these helis is NOT to crash them.
but I will say that I have dumped my mcpx a few times and the worse damage is usually a broken ball off the swash or stripped gear. In most cases I've just had to reseat the gear and was good to go again. Definitely not the case if it were a larger bird.

Nano for sure. The BL upgrade adds just enough zip to it too... first fly it with the normal motor for Collective management skills... but the Brush less mod is wonderful. Gives it enough power to do so much more, Too bad they could not make a mini brush less tail motor for it from the factory for a upgrade as well.

Would be nice to see a all in one premade brush less tail and main motor version called the nano CFX or something lol...
