800 upgrade
so if I go with 800 boom upgrade on align dfc700 running os105hzr,and 800 blades what would the main gears have to be?

You need to determine the headspeed you want to run then size pinion and maingear to get the engine running at its optimal RPM.
It's not quite as simple as "you need a 95 tooth maingear.".

not sure you can change the gearing of the nitro. if you're trying to get the headspeed down to 1800, then you'll need to get the gearing from the stock 8 (mod1) or 8.21 (mod.7) up to 8.8, if you want the motor to stay in the power band.
honestly, i'm not sure a 1.05 is enough to push 800 blades around well anyway...maybe a 1.50 or 1.60 might be needed. in any case I'm just not sure anything is offered to get 8.8 gearing. with electrics the gear mesh is adjustable as you change pinions. on the nitro the mesh is fixed. you have to use the main/pinion sets offered by align. And, i don't know if they make a set for 8.8:1 even if you can change the gearing you're also going to necessarily be slowing down the tail, losing some authority. not sure if there's a higher tooth auto gear available. but, the 700 tail won't give you the ground clearance to swing the 115s I think you'd need to get the tail authority back. i'd look in to that, too. unless i'm missing something the only option i see is to run the motor out of its power band, or run a higher than sane headspeed.
