Hey Buddy.

You're very welcome and thank you for your custom.

Your case has turned out really nice and very neatly laid out to.

Nice job on the case Ben. Looked forward to checking it out in person at the next FF I see you at.

Some great looking cases everyone! I'm curious about fan direction. If I have 2 fans mounted on the top. They only blow one direction unless you flip one around. Should they both blow out and not worry about fresh air going in?

It all depends on how you set up the air flow through your case. You do need to have fresh air coming in to supply a fresh exchange of cooler air. You can have fans just pulling air in, sucking air out or a combination of both.

The way I set mine up is I have side mounted fans, and they blow directly across the supplies.

One blows in and the one on the opposite side sucks air out.

It seems to work pretty good at keeping the supplies cooler. I haven't had the fans on the supplies kick into high speed in a while.

I also have one fan blowing in and one blowing out. Just make sure that they move air the same direction as your power supply fan or they're going to be fighting with eachother and not doing any good.

Mine is still a work in progress.
I have the Home Depot Rigid case, Chargery 1500w power supply and iCharger 406 duo charger.
So far I have the power input routed to the back of the case, v2 deck is work in progress and made of 1/4 inch MDF (final version will be 1/4 inch ABS) and I found some heavy duty 90° hinges. I got some binding posts for routing the charge outputs to the deck and I will just drill a couple holes for the balance leads. I'm waiting on hanging mounts from ProgressiveRC to mount the charger.
I plan to add cooling fans & vents, a usb output for my phone & field tablet and if I can figure out a way to mount servo leads into the deck, I can still make use of the built in servo tester.

Edit: Anybody know why the pics upload upside down? And how to fix it?

Could you tell me where you sourced those balance boards from? I cannot seem to string the right search criteria together to find them on the net.

Thx MadBird. Was a pain to track them down, wanted to do a fused balance board, but they're all so huge/didn't have room for them. I got them from Pulse actually. http://www.pulsebattery.com/junsi-el...or-308duo.html

Thank you very much for the info nem3.

They will suit my purpose with less effort than the cheaper ones that have a different type of connector on them.

While not exactly a 'case'.... check out Pawel's charger setup! Wow! Thought that one shouldn't hide on the charger forum.
