Hey, anybody know if you can run 690's on a 60 with a 70 motor?

yep, I ran 690 blades & an OS70 on my R60 at that time. No problems with it back then. Head RPM recover in tictocs etc, will be acceptable once you use 20%nitro & over.

Right on...I'm thinking of buying a gal of 30% and mixing with 15%(which is what I'm using now)

maybe just keep on using out the 15% you have, already to learn mild energy manuvers you haven't perfected yet.. say inverted backwards flying curcuits or inveted nose in hovering etc..
then switch to the 30%, as you don't need to be burning 30% when your learning certain things.. Thats how i kept the costs down while learnign to fly.
