Pictures as requested Bill.

It's pretty much the same size mainshaft-to-tailshaft as a T-Rex 500, but just looks bigger overall. The canopy is really big, the boom is 4mm larger OD than the T500's, and the head comes straight from the Logo 500.

Looks nice Chris!

Logo 400 has the same size shafts as the Logo 500 and 600 which are bigger than T500's

Yeah, they're all 10mm shaft, but different lengths. Kind of a ripoff at $18, but if you say they don't bend in a crash then it's worth it.

It looks really big for sure. The rounded-edge canopy makes it look like a much more serious helicopter

Yes, I've been buying A&W root beer (IMHO it's the best root beer) for over 30 years in Chicagoland.

Now, the pic that Chris posted is making me want my L400 NOW!

That's my favorite canopy color scheme too.

BUT you dont actually have A&W's...they have the best burgers in the world!!! and yes BY FAR the best Root Beer. I can tell you why too. the base to A&W is caramel, and the base to root beer such as Barq's is that ITS base is black liquorice...theres also a few other things that make it better, but i cant tell you that information

How about a picture of your L500 canopy? Looks like you have the same scheme, those look awesome as well.

Umm, yeah we do! A&W chains are all around here, especially in Northern California and along the coast. I also think A&W is the best root beer, it's the vanilla that does it for me ... But what does this have to do with an L400?!

Back on topic. All my electronics and other items have arrived. Off to continue the build!

Chris,
Did you remember to sand the edges of your frames? Nice pictures! Even looks better in person. Too bad you couldn't put it on display at you workplace, LOL. If you haven't yet, you may want to spray the belt with dry graphite lube. I have the spray can if you need it. And you know Dan and I will bug you to ground the boom to the motor plate and then to the - side of your battery. Can't wait to see that bird jamming the skies.

Nope ... didn't sand the frames ... maybe next time I have the frames apart I will probably give them a light sanding on the exposed edges as it sits now. Will do a ground wire as well.

How tight do you usually do belts on Logos? Pretty tight?

You can still sand the inner side of the exposed frames. That way you won't cut yourself when you stick your fingers through them. It also prevents your wires from getting cut or chaffed. I have the belts on both my Logos tight. I believe its safer that way. If you want to spray you belt, let me know and I can drop off the graphite spray to you at your workplace tomorrow.

Ok guys ran into a bit of a problem ...

The hardened main shafts don't use e-clips for securing on the bottom below the gear. I got a plastic spacer/lock piece and a pin. I am ASSUMING this is the way it goes in, as this the only way I can think that the gear would be held in. However I'm not sure what the three holes are, nor why the e-clips weren't used (although it was kind of a pain to get those on, even with e-clip pliers). So ... is this right?

Sorry for low-quality phone pictures.
