Default Lama3 - A single motor coax!

Looks quite interesting... http://www.walkera.com/cn1/lm3/index_e.html

I really like the new microsites Walkera is creating for their new heli. The Lama 2 had, shall we say, a few minor design flaws... I think this one looks like a winner!

It sure does Steve!
I had sworne to never buy a coax again, but this one looks like it could be used for amature photo/video. (they claim that in their ad)
They also claim it could be flown in some wind!
If these claims are true, I will pick one up and take some video with it.
For now, I'll just wait and get some feed-back.
Thanks for the heads up!

I can't believe there isn't more excitement and discussion about this... this is really a unique design!

would love to see someone do some 3D with this thing. Not saying it could compete with a single rotor on that front but it would be cool to see coax 3d flight...if it has not been already done. anyway

Don't think it can do any of that just yet, however it only has one motor and it's CP, now that hasn't been done before!!

Interesting design, though I did wonder what the point of it was, then I spotted the bit about using it as a camera ship
