What's the smallest battery you have ran in your 480?

I've been running 3300's. Today, I tried my 2650's. First flight was 3 minutes at 1960rpm and the last 1 minute at 2300. Cells were at 3.85v after flight. The second flight was 5 minutes at 1960 with the cells reading 3.83 after the flight. Style was aggressive sport. It felt great at 1960rpm and felt like a smack machine at 2300.

I run 3700mah on mild-3d packs come down with 25% left in them and around 3:45-4mins flight

I Run 3300's. Because they where from My logo 600 sx.

But I fly 4,30min with 2250 headspeed. Works great.

2700mAh 8S packs get me 3:30mins at 2600rpm with 20% left, hard 3D flight

Wow, you guys wouldnt get more than a minute or two out of my 2650's and I think I could get 6 minutes out of them.

OptiPower 6s 2700mAh packs in mine only because I had them from a previous T-Rex500.

4 minutes flat out at 2700rpm with 20% left in the packs.

wow i just purchased the 480 at IRCHA and they suggested 3700 to 4000 but i have a bunch of 2700 from my Align 500-this sounds promasing to be able to use the lower MAH packs-I only do slow sport flying-ill start off with short flights and see wht goes back in

If you are slow sport flying with lower head speed, those 2700's should work fine.
