To be honest, I am new to Aerial. However, I have done so many researches, I think use the halo shock(2 shocks per side) can provide good vibration isolation. In my opinion, I think dual vibration reduction system will be soild. One isolation we mentioned is the shocks connecting the boom to the frame; another would be something to do with camera pan. Use gyro stablized pan would be good, but it is too expensive, therefore, I would go for the rubber shock Raytang used on this project. I have seen a project with the rc car shocks connecting each corner of camera pan with the boom. And it is good too. But that need more adjustment.

To sum up, I would go for the combination: dual shocks connecting between the boom and heli frame, rubber shock between the boom and the pan and a vibration reduction lens. I think that would give you great stablization. BTW, I would add a gel plate between camera and the pan, that would do the job.

Are you using a SLR tho? If that so, you should go to a camera store ask for the nikon vr lens deminstration. The price for this type of lens compare to gyro stablized pan is cheap. Coz last time I went a store checking out the lens, the put camera with the lens on a fast tilting pan, and i couldn't see any unstable images.

Aagin, I am new to this. But this is my plan, hope it is useful for you.

Wow, very nice great work! How about a parts list? I've got my trex 600 and am eager to try something similar...

Really nice quality of the videos, what camera you use?

Seems you have solved the vibration problem. Nice water you got there.

Raytang, really impressive work! Any chance you could post a list of the parts you used for your mount now that it appears to be complete? I feel like if I knew for sure what parts are needed I could probably figure out the rest...I would really appreciate any help you could give me!

Thanks!
