If this was the case, then:

a. it would be really easy to determine since there would be a paper trail for the orders, and could easily be prevented, if necessary. They could just say "limit 1" for those parts.

b. If you knew a part you made was going to sell out in a few days, wouldn't you just keep making them 24/7 until you could keep them in stock? So why did it take 8 months to get a new batch out, crazy.

It didn't take 8 months. In the last 8 months they came in stock 2 or 3 times.. they just sold out so fast most didn't notice. And i only bought 3

I think the first "drought" of tail shafts lasted 8 months or longer. That's what I meant.

WooooHoooooo, I got a tail shaft today from helidirect! I got the email notice, called helidirect almost immediately(thank you Mr.Smart Phone) and the gentleman from North Carolina didn't know they were in yet. He checked the inventory and why sure enough they got in 40 and 12 were already sold. This tail rotor shaft thing reminds me of the toilet paper "shortage" that Johnny Carson caused. He mentions on late night tv that there was a toilet paper shortage and the buying public flocked to the stores and bought up all of the tp and guess what.....there was a tp shortage because everyone wanted to get theirs first. Kinda sad how he was just joking. Matt
