Default Front torque tube gear stiff / binding.

I have a new 700 and noticed that the front and rear torque tube gears were binding slightly.

I thought maybe they needed running.

I have now put a good 40 flights through it and they are still binding, I tried replacing them with new ones and they are actually worse!

They are binding before the torque tube is installed. The fronts were very very difficult to get into the bearing's.

If you spin the umbrella gears on there own they are fine but as soon as I install the other gear they bind both front and back.

Any ideas?

I have tried various combinations of the old and new gears.

They may not be pushed in far enough.

Are you using Align gears? I tried using aftermarket gears on my 500 and had the same problem. I switched to the rip off price Align product and it works great.
