Looking for a Ep100 or 200
I would like to pick up a Micro for indoors this winter. My club will have about 3-4 indoor events over the winter and would like something like the new ep200 or a Ep100 to fly, I can't justify buying a new 200 for just the 3 or 4 events though. so how does the older Ep100 compare to the new 200, and does anyone have a old bird laying around they want to unload, crashed or not?
also how does the older carbon frame compare to the plastic version? |

I have an EP100 plastic frame - kit is only $99+ ESC + BL + servos. The problem with the EP100's was that there wasn't / isn't enough lift to do anything particulerly wild (not that you would believe that if you saw the early promo videos). I am very happy with my EP100 - but I only do lazy 8s and ff - still learning. If you want crazy 3D you are better off with the 200 or buy a 100 and the stretch kit (about $30 or $40)

where we fly indoors is pretty bad, it's a 3/4 gym all off white! steel rafter white ceiling, floor and walls! In the past I flew my Trex or a Blade cx/cp, but for me depth perception is so bad you need to stay close (too close) or real slow, the Blade is fine but boreing the Trex, I crash every time doing something stupid! generally the walls get too close! so i would like something that will flip, and possibly roll in a 18-20ft ceiling, do inverted, but most of all have a good constant tail! I can't stand the Blade CP tail, and the Cx is just too lazy.

as they said, you are looking for an ep100 with a stretch kit or a hurricane 200. In all honesty, you might as well get the hurricane 200. You can pick up ep100 pro's pretty cheap now, but you still need an esc and motor, and then you need the stretch kit and at the end of the day, the 200 frame is probably better.
