Default Soft start

How is the soft start on the kit ESC and motor when used with the V-Bar governor? Does the rotor start softly, or does it kick and cause the entire heli to rotate?

As long as you configure they YGE and vbar correctly you will have a decent spool up with no tail kick. But I have found that it is not as slow of a spool up as the YGE internal gov.

Flew my new Logo 700 today with the supplied YGE ESC and yes it does a very nice soft start. In fact I'm just using flat throttle curves and flip out of hold and its just fine.

You should do the end point calibration in V-bar Gov though.

The machine flys awesome!

The scale turns out to not be very accurate, I checked it with cast iron bar bell weights and its high... So I'm not sure how much mine actually weighs. I've seen them weigh in as little as 11lb 12oz RTF using a BEC and 6s5000's.
