Default Where do you put your Sat?

For those use DSM/DSMx sats, where do you put your sats?

I maidened mine yesterday, antenna switched warnings are peppered in the vBar log. I have one on the edge of the gyro plate with both antenna sticking out. Another one is on the boom vertically. Trying to figure out whether it is location, wiring, and hardware issue.

Thanks

Cheater

I haven't checked the logs but I put mine on the plate between the motor and esc and underneath on the bottom of the rear landing gear. Just forward of where the tail boom control rods mount to the frame. The canopy is fiberglass so I wanted to ensure the least amount of CF interference. That way I have signal top and bottom and front to back. I'll check my logs ASAP but currently out of town.

One on top of boom about 3 inches out, the other on the nose of the heli with the active antenna pointing forward with no carbon around it. Not seeing antenna switches on DSMX sats.

One faces horizontal and one vertical.

FYI... I tried a old set of NanoTech 4400's 45C for a flight. Bah!!!!! I wouldn't recommend it. It puffed them and I got 3:45 of flight at 2050 RPM. 5000's for this old girl. I run Thor 6S 5000 45C.

Thanks guys. I moved the sat on the gyro tray to the bottom of the side with both antenna sticking out. One flight with only two antenna switch warnings and one flight with one antenna switch warning. Perhaps the rear end of the canopy was messing with the sat or the antenna was touching the carbon frame. I think I am good for now.
