I didn't have any luck running the stock esc, I am running different servos too though. Maybe try mr mels headspeed calculator to find what you're after.

I'll be running a mostly stock setup with stock ESC. Main gear is a slant LYNX and the pinions are also LYNX.
Wish I could help ya on that. This will be my first 300. Never had one before but had to try one from everyone having fun posts and vid's. So I'll be hit and miss until I find mines sweet spot myself.

I'm going to run the bigger stock 450X ESC with a CC 10A BEC. I have a extra 450X ESC's with the "Hot Glue" mod done. I haven't needed it. Still on my original one.

With EXI D213F (metal gear), cyclic and a DS76T (never had a problem with them on my 450X) .
I have the "RC-Head-Gear-Ratio" program/app. So I'll be able to get a general Idea what I'm running. The AR7200 is just temporary.

Once I get my "Brain" (this fall or sooner) for it I'll get a RPM sensor and run it governed and fine tune my HS.

UPDATE: My order is being processed. Full 300 bird so a lot of parts to pull and double check they all are there.

Yes this will be a Lynx 250, until I stretch it then a Lynx 275. (Old school going by true blade length).

BUT it's build out of all the Lynx 300X mod parts so I'll log it in here.

Yes as GSPI it's a little higher in price, but I look at what I have when I'm done. There will be no "Maybe I should try this upgrade." " I wish it had this."

My Lynx 350 (stretched all 450X mod parts) is done the same way.

Don't take me wrong. I love my Blades. I just have loved modding /customizing all my life.

I would suggest using an 11T pinion with the Lynx slant system to start and you should be ok. Depending on if you are using an aftermarket ESC you might be able to use a 12T as an alternative.

Bummer to me...I ordered the LYNX Pinion 12T, 13T, 14T - 3.17mm motor shaft pack.

GSPI, you know way more than I so I'll order that 11T because I want to use the stock ESC.

Listen, use the 12T as a test to see if you get heat on the ESC or motor and run it if you don't experience heat build up. I suggested the 11T as a base line gentle runner much like stock.

I will be starting my Lynx 250 build Wed. (Blade 300X ) I get my parts on Tue but I'll organize them and get picks of then Tue then start the build Wed.

Once I stretch it will be a Lynx 275. Every optional part Lynx makes for the 300X.

NOT bashing Blade or the 300X, just kind of hard to call it a Blade with it being this many mods vrs. original parts.

I get my build this after noon. I'll see if the stretch in in it. I ordered it even though it wasn't on the site just in case. BUT my invoice didn't reflect it. Wife didn't say if the checkbook reflected it or not.

OK todays work: Program the Lynx 250 into DX8 (tested things on 450x AR7200 bind). Level swash, install DFC head, final mount and clean up wires, install blades, tune the final AR7200 set up, put canopy on.
Then final PICTURE TIME.

My scratch build 300X (Lynx 250 ) is all done. Just needs a final AR7200 set up for pitches.

Bench test blades off. SMOOTH.

Pics and build video coming as I get done with them. Lynx 275 once I stretch it and add the 275mm mains.

Got board. Heli is 100% ready for the skies now.

Well I have to wait until Fri. night for my TX-60 for my adapter pig tail so I can run EC3's or the TX-60 pack's we have here for Mack's planes until I get more pack's.

I use EC3s for all my small birds and EC5s for the big ones. I got sick of the adapter, charger port, and parallel charger board collections that kept piling up, so I stocked up on EC3 and EC5 connectors (personal preference - I have nothing against TX-60s). Now, every time I buy batteries I immediately swap out the connectors on them. But I guess it's a two way street - you either haul around a slew of adapters and parallel charger boards or spend the time soldering connectors.

My sons foamy is are TX-60's, It and the Lipo's were already set up when he bought the set up. Don't want to swop his stuff because the group we fly with, all their packs are TX-60's and everyone swops packs as theirs run out and they field charge.

All my stuff is EC's. I'm the odd man out. But I prefer the EC's and don't want to make all my stuff TX-60 just to fit in.

This bird is my only pack cross over were Mack and I can use the same packs other than our Nano QX's.

So its no issue. At home we just charge one pack at a time on my iCharger so parallel boards and all the other hokey poky stuff is no issue. One pigtail for me and one for him and DONE.
