Default 3S for DJI ?

Hi guys,
I don't know if this subject has been discussed before I need to know what others power their DJI system with.
3S LiPo?
other?
Is there going to be a too high voltage for DJI to handle when 3S is fully charged?

They are not really serious about the prices are they? The cheap system works out to $3287 USD and the whiz-bang, humdinger system works out to $10,032 USD. For that kind of money I can go out and hire a pilot and full size heli to fly me anywhere I want to go, several times. Do they seriously expect someone to invest that kind of money in a heli that costs at most, $1200.00 ?

If you consider what that systems capabilities are it is not hard to see we are not their market. Their market will primarily be government agencies world wide. Think remote autonomous surveillance. A small heli version of a Predator drone.

3s lipo is fine, fully charged even. I did that for a while until I got the waypoint system, which requires 2s only.

Jacob,

I have to ask. Do you use the system on a hobby heli or is it a commercial venture of some kind?

I certainly hope there was some way that Waypoint system was at least fully tax-deductible. That is serious bucks for we lowly peons. Up until now, I thought CP II was pricey. Compared to Waypoint, the price of CP II is as insignificant as the price of a Big Mac.
