Default gaui motor comparison: 202 vs 203

Just wondering if anyone knows the performance difference between these two motors which are both listed as parts for the X2:
http://www.clubheli.com/Gaui-GM-202-...02_p_3534.html
and
http://www.clubheli.com/Gaui-Scorpio...03_p_3578.html

The 852203 is what came with my kit but costs twice what the 852202 motors costs. They both have the same KV rating.

They are very different, in weight, in dimensions and in power.
The 852203 is a Scorpion motor (HKII 2208 series), customized for GAUI and much better than the 852202 one.

Ciao,
Egidio

Can you be any more specific. Trying to find out what "much beter means". I wish they would publish detailed specifications.

I had the 852202 one on my 255 and I changed it with a Scorpion HKII 2208-24 (same as 852202, it was on the market before the GAUI customized one - different shaft). It needs more current and is more powerful than the 852202 one.
some dimensions:

Outside diameter:
852202 = 25.5 mm
852203 = 27.9 mm

Body leinght:
852202 = 21.5 mm
852203 = 25.3 mm

Now, on my GAUI 255 (customized X2) I have the Scorpion HKII - 2208-24 and I will not come back to 852202.
Please, search in this forum about motor's discussions and you will find many informations and impressions about these two motors.

the gaui/scorpion motor in my x2 is marked gm-202 3600kv.

Is this the same as the 203 motor that's been talked about in this thread or is it different ?

Probably, the newer scorpion is a monster.

just wanted to update. the motor situation is confusing. I ordered the 202 from clubheli. The motor that came with my kit is also labeled as a 202 but they are not the same motor. The stock motor may be what is now labled as the 203 but I have no way to tell.

Old thread but I have the GM-202 3600kv motor. Is this the most powerful of the two motors?
