I don't read it as the Thunder Tiger brand is being discontinued world wide, I read it as Hobbico will be discontinuing sales/ support of Thunder Tiger/ Ace RC brand. Who knows though?

I guess I read it literally. Thunder Tiger's website lists only TT Germany, Taiwan (World HQ), and China as contacts.

Maybe Hobbyking will pick up distribution lol.

This is disappointing to hear. Too bad TT is dropping nitro machines altogether. Hopefully we can continue to buy parts from Taiwan.

Man these are my favorite machines, especially Nitro! But Ill admit I was sad when Hobbico started to carry TT, because Hobbico is where hobbies go to die. I was scared they would ruin TT for ever. But now, WHEW, hopefully HRP will bring tunder tiger back near the top! on A side note I think most companies are sort of taking a back seat because of the sudden interest in exotic brands. but once the fad fades I think the market will even out. My personal belief is that most of the noobs entering the hobby are jumping before they can walk. this is driving sales of things that are no better than any other machine. Ive been flying helis for close to eight years now and Have owned and flown alot of different machines. But never have I seen such an influx of interest in RC Helis, and new brands, than I have in recent years. Which is good, but there is alot of things that make no sense to me. EX. In the last two years 4 guys at my LC have join the heli side of the hobby. Every one of them has a Goblin!! Were talking like the most experienced of the 4 is 1 1/2yrs. I tried to tell them start small and build up to what they want. Nope the smallest heli I get to watch hover every weekend is a goblin 500. blows my mind why someone would go so expensive and high performance to start. BUT I know to each his own, however a lot of great brands and machines are being passed over for looks and hype. Maybe I'm just an idiot and missing something. I thought with two college degrees I would have better idea of life's unique quandaries. So much for that. GO thunder tiger spread your rotors and fly!

P.s I am not bashing any brands, just to be clear!
