Default New Source for the Zoom/Shogun AND Parts!

Just talked to Mac Hodges of Hodges Hobbies (a Helifreak sponsor). He has Shoguns in stock as well as parts. He has all the common crash-parts and is looking to expand his inventory. So if there are any other items he should add, let him or myslef know.

BTW: He also has Himaxx and AXI brushless motors, pinion gears, LiPoly batteries, ESCs, and radio gear.

I don't know if any of that is on his web site yet, but give him a call and tell him what you're looking for. (866)924-9505 or mac@hodgeshobbies.com.

We're still looking for a good source for blades. The stock blades aren't all that great and all the FRP blades that I've seen are very expensive - $50 & up! Like 90 looks promising, but I haven't actually tried them yet. Mah is also working on some, but I don't know what they'll cost.

BimmerM3, try and track down those new SAB's I think they will be the only blade worth the extra money for the shogun. I cant bring myself to pay 50+ for some CF blades that look homemade. A friend got some and they are delaminating after like 10 gentle flights.

The only ones I havent tried are the HH knockoffs and there stuff is usually an exact copy of the stock stuff

From what i have heard the a SAB's fly great and are reasonably priced.

I saw a cool post on RR on Ruler blades. Less than $1 each. You do the labor though.

Interesting. A lot of work though. I wonder how hard it would be to make them symmetrical?
