Default Servo for 115mm tail blades

I have an align ds650 servo on my 700 with 115mm tail blades for torque. However the ds650 has 69 on/in at .06 and am wondering if it would be better to use a ds620 with 139 oz/in at .07 for better torque compensation as I noticed that my tail doesn't stay strait all the time when maneuvering. I've dialed it in and that is the only thing left. And am wondering if .07 speed is even gonna be noticeable from .06 in performance. Just want it more locked in. Anyone have any input?

Buy a BK-7005HV ($90 at HeliDirect).
http://www.helidirect.com/bk-hv-mini...ed-p-32265.hdx

Torque / speed (60 degree):
- 116.7 oz/in @ 6.0V / 0.035s
- 133.3 oz/in @ 7.4V / 0.032s
- 147.2 oz/in @ 8.4V / 0.030s
333hz / 760us

I just bought 2. One for my 700N and one for my 600E.

Also, look into "Chinese Weights" (google it).
If done right, it will 0 out the "tennis racket effect" that requires the higher torque from a servo on the tail blades. When properly done, you could use a super fast, low torque servo instead a super fast high torque servo.

I've bid on these on eBay and got them for around $95. Good torque and speed.

Isn't that the mini HV servo?

The BL855 is the full size tail servo from the latest Align HV kits.

I run a Futaba bls256 and BK tail servo in 2 of my 700s flying 115/116 tail blades. Both work extremely well despite very different specs.

I'm using an HC3sX and it can have issues with some tail servos, I had the new BK brushless servo on it and it flew ok, but would drift on the bench, no big deal but I just didn't like the drifting. But I am using the new BK brushless cyclic servos and they are working great, very efficient, I run a 2s lipo and they are only using around 100-150mah per flight.
