Wishfull thinking IMO.........

When it does come out it will most likely set a new standard for 50 machines but I would guess closer to late August.

Well if your here in Birmingham at the Central Alabama Helicopter Fly-In this weekend. You can talk to Tim Schoonard and ask him any questions about it directly. Tim will be here tomorrow along with a few of the MA Team pilots. I believe they will have the nitro 50 along with another new model flying.

No, nothing has been renamed. MA is in the process of releasing two new helicopters. The Bandit which runs 325mm blades and the nitro Razor which runs 600-620's.

Edit: F***, you're right. I just saw the website and it has indeed been renamed. Sorry

It really isn't wishful thinking to believe the Razor will be out in a few months. I saw it fly in January and it is by far the best 50 I've ever seen and in the state I saw it in, the only thing it lacked was a canopy. The Razor has been in the works for a long time and it finally looks ready. From what Tim has said, a release date in the next few months isn't that far off.

Read the bottom of my first post. I edited that about 2 minutes after the original.

I was surprised to see the name change to tell you the truth. I just wonder why the tail is backwards on the 450...

Yep, surprised me also. Kind of liked the Razor name better. I am still having difficulty deciding whether I like the new canopy or not. Perhaps if it was trimmed a bit different at the back. Hmmmmmmmm.....

I think it's the paint job as I don't like the canopy too much either. To tell you the truth, my favorite design is the e-Razor canopy.

It looks very good , I just hope that they did it right this time and that is not like with the E-Razor that was suppossed to be light and powerful and the best 50 size E-heli and ended up being a Pig.

Don't Get me wrong I like MA machines a lot and will like one of these Bandit but I got an E-Razor back when they were released and was very dissapoited when it ended up weighting 9+lbs.

epc2.

Don't worry, I've seen it fly. It's definitely not a pig!

I read on the other site that Bobby Watts' (or was it Nick Maxwell...?) Bandit came out to about 7.5 pounds. Looks promising.
