Default Vario Erickson Air Crane - ELECTRIC RTF

Last year, I bought Joel R's AirCrane for 8K -- well worth it. The bad news is that I have only been able to fly it once! I replaced his Sk360 with a brand new Bavarian Demon (60 days ago) and bought 4 new 5,250 packs! I've been buried in work and just won't get enough time on it. I'm also including a FUTABA 6014 receiver!!! It's ready to go. So...here is Joel's description of the beast and two photos:

The "Petrol Mechanics for Air-Crane" which have been converted to electric power with a Steve NEU 2230/2Y 10,000 watt motor, and retains the use of the clutch. The motor is powered by a Kontronic Power Jazz 160 amp ESC, and power is switched on via an Emcotec remote switch. The mechanics have 4 x JR DS8717 cyclic servos, and a JR DS8231 on the tail. The tail uses a GY-401 gyro. The onboard flybarless stabilization system is a Skookum SK-360. Power is applied to the RX system via 2x2S 1P 2600mAH Hyperion LiPos, which directly power a 4 servo "Perfect Regulator" which is a linear regulator.

The rotor head is Vario's 6-blade rotor head, and has the matching 6-blade set, which creates a 2000mm rotor disc.

The Air Crane has a full cockpit, and it includes my original Helitronix Programmable Light Controller to operate the strobes, landing lights, and NAV lights.

In order to fly it, you simply need to add your own RX. I use 4x5000 mAH 30C batteries to make a 10S x 2P setup, 10,000mAH, which gives a 9.0 minute flight with 20% capacity remaining. The heli weighs 40 pounds.

SALE PRICE: $7,250 including new gyro and receiver. SMOKIN DEAL.
