Hi to all.

///and hoping for a bit of help and clarity. Has anyone replaced the V2 feathering shaft yet? The Feathering Shaft HS1251 part has aluminum collars that are Φ5xΦ3x1.5mm.

But on the stock V2, and on the main rotor blade grips, the aluminum collars are as per the stock V2 which are Φ4xΦ5.6x1.5mm.

So is the part "Feathering Shaft HS1251" compatible with the V2 head? was there a design change on the feathering shaft on the V2? do i need to change any other parts or it will work with the New V2 head as advertised?

Thanks in advance and regards

Rob

Just checking tyhe Align web site the spacers with the replacemnt feathering shaft says OD 5mm, ID 3mm, and thckness 1.5mm
http://www.align.com.tw/shop/product...oducts_id=1579
This HAS to be a missprint!!! WHY because the OD of the feathuring shaft is 4mm. the old V1 was 3mm. I think they are quoting the V1 spacers in the web page and parts bag!!! 3mm ID WONT WORK on a 4mm OD spindle!

So I bet if you took the part out of the bag an measured the spacer it would be more like ID 4mm, OD 5.6mm and 1.5 thickness.

Its a misprint.. i got the V2 feathering shaft part the other day. Its the correct size for the V2... Would have been a whole lot easier if they'd printed it properly in the first place

Thanks Bob... Really appreciate the help.

I just received my 450S CF in the mail today,... Do you believe i can use these same video's to assist in the build of the 450S CF?

I'm not totally sure of all the differences between the two helicopters so i thought i would ask and hopefully someone is kind enough to answer for me please.

Thank you.

There isn't. It's just the color of frames and fins.

Hi, I see you use the fs61bb servos in combination with the esc bec BL35x.
The servos use 4.8volts, the esc gives 6volts.
Doesnt this give any problem?

I would agree that the CopterX vs. the TRex....in that they do APPEAR to be identical except for the main gear (not the new style) and the tail hub, silver not black, but could be designed the same as the new align black hub..hard to say. But my guess is that there would be many more differences that do not meet the eye that would make the CopterX even less exactly the same.
