Default Tail too sensitive with Dx7, Telebee Rc500, Hitec-HS65MG servo.

Hi everyone,

I finished my copterx 450, I must thank to the vid providing by Helifreak (specially Bob) helped me to get very stable (elev, aileron, pitch). However, I have a tail acting too violent when I get into hover. When I was in around above mid stick, the tail turn to left or right and I got to fight to control it immediately so it's too dangerous to get into hoverring longer so I just kept testing but couldn't get it right so being desperate to look for some help now, it seems the rudder not very sensitive with my left, right rudder input.

Below is my setup for the tail:
Still don't get this right even watching several tail setup...sorry for bothering everyone!
Servo: Hitec HS-65MG and is in the middle
Gyro: Telebee RC500x, sensitivity level set on the telebee is in middle
DX7:
Gyro Sense: mode 0 at 50, mode 1 at 50, all flight at 0
Rudder Travel Adjustment: L & H = 120. Both directions are not binding at all as verified.
Gear: positive = 100 & negative = 100

I couldn't find else where I could adjust mechanically or electronically...tail belt seems ok, not very tight or loose.

Anyone please give any idea, much appreciated!

Thanks,
rcjpth

I got it almost right but when I move the rudder to the left (only the left) the rudder moves correctly but and I released the rudder it slowly return to its own default position (middle of the tail shaft, center). Only the left, the right rudder response pretty ok when I move the rudder and release, it immediately returns to the center of the tail.

Any thoughts?

Tks,

It was strange, I found that I had to reverse the Rudder, second that I replaced the HS-65MG with Towerpro SG90, and set the Telebee RCE-500X gyro sense to 55 (as everyone said over 50 it will activate the Gyro HH Mode so it looks like it does), travel adjustment to 80 on L & R.

OK - just tested, it hover EXTREMELY stable - hey Bob, your vid provides my helicopter hover extremely stable in hover and I dont even need to do blade tracking - that's right - no blade tracking.

Not sure if I should put back the HS-65MG in since the towerpro SG90 working great! And I have no idea what Gyro sense should be set for Telebee RCE-500x Gyro.

I think my main issue was the Rudder, it must have been reversed in order to work.

Thanks everyone to read this thread,
rcjpth
