Thats a GREAT paint scheme. I think I'm going to finally have a good place to start with what I want to do with one of the Logo canopies.

Well only the flybar one is dialed in, but the rest are maidened and ready for warm weather to begin the Vstabi learning and tweaking process. Each Vstabi heli flies "ok" but Ihave alot of work to do on them in that respect. Still have to paint the one and fins obviously and have a flybar 600 yet to build then my 2008 fleet will officially be complete! I guess the one thing about being in the deep freezer right now is I can spend lots of time building and taking my time to do a good job.

Thats only 5 crashes Shawn, are you sure it will get you through the 2008 season?

After about 10 flights, I've pretty much got it dialed in the way I want it!
Wow Marshall, all dialed in after only 10 flights? There are a few of use out here still struggling with the setup maybe you can help us get ours all dialed in too?

Matt

Not a problem Matt. It flies the way I want it to, but I'm still messing with some settings EVERY flight to see if I can make it better and figure out better what some of this nonsense means. =) I'd be happy to answer any questions that anyone might have. I'm not a pro by any means and this is my first V-Bar...but anyway, here is my flight file...and setup

Thanks Shawn. I added a few more pics and you can see a small effect of the flash tape on the flybar paddles. It looks much cooler in flight and a slower shutter would probably bring it out better. Hate to talk about the weather for you guys in the cold but it was about 65F yesterday and no wind and awesome visibility but there is rain and colder temps coming tonight.

Got a few shots today at work while our photographer was setup shooting new products. Need to Photoshop out the antennae in one of the photos. What I really need is one of those canopy paint jobs from Tom and Max ( http://www.helistore.at )

Now thats what I'm talking about, beautiful paint man!

Shawn: I can't help it man, this flybarless stuff is IT! The head looks so clean and uncluttered, the flight performance is amazing and I hate it now because I don't want to build anything with a flybar. Next project is a Logo500 stretch with another V-stabi. Then a 400 and another V-Stabi, then the ........ , oh the list goes on....

I really like this paint scheme as well. These designs match the Logo curves very well.

Contacted Dave Yost about a custom design but he is booked up for a while.
