Default MKS Servos, wont move by hand

I purchased a crashed X4ii knowing that the cyclic servo gears were most likely stripped (MKS 9660a servos). Upon disassembly I found no stripped gears and the servos work fine when powered. But with out power I can't turn the servo horns by hand (which means I wont be able to fold my blades into the holder when the power is off etc)

Has anyone ever encountered this?
Should I replace all the gears? ($75 for 3 sets)

I've vigorously tested the servos hooked up to my Ikon and they seam fine (don't get hot, don't jam..) Any advice would be appreciated

There may be slight gear damage. I have seen damaged servos work fine when being pushed by the servo motor, but bind when moving the servo horn by hand. Each way loads the gears up differently.

I have flown my 450 like this before. But to be safe I would change the gears personally.

Damm yeah I was afraid of that, I was hoping with enough use they would free up but so far I've not seen any improvements.
