How Much Extra Weight?
How much EXTRA weight can a brushless NCPX carry as apposed to a stock NCPX? And, is there a difference between mild, and wild as far as payload goes?
Reason I'm asking is because of my Hughes 500 fuselage. I don't do 3D, so I don't need tremendous power, but I don't want it to bog down because of added weight. I also plan on doing a scale navigational lighting system to it which also ads weight. I wonder if anybody can do a weight test and compare how much weight a stock, mild, and wild NCPX could muster. Thanks in advance! By the way, I am NOT planning on adding any alloy to this bird. Only extra weight will be scale fuselage and lighting system.

When going scale you should always factor in a heavier battery too, higher weight without a bigger gas tank costs you flight time too. How much weight will the fuse you have add?

I think it was 2oz? I would have to weigh it again. It is right now off the helicopter and getting ready for Magnum PI's paint job and nav-lights. I thought I had PMed you asking to do mod for my Nano?
