Pics of the TDR2 are now making the rounds and it looks pretty darn cool. So now would be a very good time for the new Faifa to be seen.

Pictures of the Goblin Speed Competition is out too...and it also uses a linear servo arrangement. It has a proper speed fuselage too but looks too much like the TDR Velocity. It will be interesting to see what the Kasama looks like though I don't remember any information pointing towards a "speed" fuselage. Could just be a pod and boom like the standard TDR. BTW the TDR-2 looks ugly in my opinion.

Well, looks aside, what the TDR2 accomplishes is an extremely aerodynamic shape and bringing the C of G up nearer the rotor disc. So it should be super fast and super agile.

For me the Faifa is already fast and agile enough for my flying, sooooo anything more is overkill. (or is there any such thing as 'overkill' :-)

I was lucky to get a photo at all, K has some neat ideas, as usual, and very protective in this cut-throat era!

I am not really into 700's but anything Kasama is worth looking at. I will not get excited until Mercuriell posts a build video. I will know then it is reality as far as availability is concerned.

It exists, has been test flown and looks awesome. New frame and many ideas trickled down from previous designs and the UAV. Very compact, high CG, linear servos, reduced parts count and a few Kasama style 'out of the box' innovations. Parts are actually in production.

This will be a very nice heli and is the first non-German heli to give me that 'I want' feeling for many years!

This is a low volume boutique heli and as such we will just have to wait for its release. In common with other manufacturers such as Henseleit and Minicopter this is produced for the love of engineering and technology rather than to turn a profit - as such it has to necessarily take 2nd place to commercial activities without which there would be no factory

FWIW I tried to get K's permission to publish a pic or two but he has considerable pride in the project and doesn't wish it to be seen publicly till its finished!

Still looking for a name though, fast, sleek, efficient, innovative, Thai - any ideas anyone?

My imagination is running wild. I'd love to see it.

There's a good handful of boutique helis coming out or just out, the new TDRs, HD Cell 750, Core 700, Takumi, a new Diabolo, just to name a few.

But the Kasama is the one I am most keen to see (and will probably want).
