Default Batteries, Whats Your Weapon

Hello all, I'm using 2x6s Gens Ace 4000mah 60C batteries in my Titan X50e. I've only got the one set

and it's time for another so I can fly more than once. I noticed my heli doesn't auto all that well and I'm

curious to know if these batteries are a little too big and heavy for this bird. What do you guy's use?

I think it may be time for a generator with the price of LiPo pack this size, especially when I do eventually

get a 700. Acouple of set of batteries will be half the cost of a lesser known brand inverter generator

or a Honda/Yamaha 2nd hand. I look forward to hearing what you use, many thanks.

Haha, yes, it is quiet in here. I use 3300 in mine, and flies perfect. I really like this machine.

Cheers mate, Yes I like this heli too, but man the fact of this place being a ghost town is sad.

Oh well lol, yes I'm going to go for the Pulse Ultra 3300 65c, only problem is they have been

out of stock everywhere in Australia for like 6-8 weeks . Do you all (haha all 2 men) think

my 2 x 4000 are the reason why my X50e doesn't auto well, because of the weight.

Don't worry about this place being empty... as long as there aren't a long list of threads pertaining to having issues, this is not a bad thing.

The weight of the 4000's may be a contributing factor, but you can run longer blades than stock. The stock blades, I believe is ~600mm. You can put ~620mm and it will float a lot better, with the added weight of the 4000's.

Yes you are 100% right on being quiet here ISN'T a bad

thing...its a good machine. Heaven forbid if I do crash I'll

get longer blades then. Thanks for the advice.

I ended up with a pair of Align High Power 3300 50C batteries, Pulse batteries have been out of stock

for so long here, and still are. The last time I saw them in stock on an Australian online retailer was more

than 3 months ago. So when I finally get a chance to fly I hope it helps to auto better. I also hope these

Align batteries are good.
