Hello from Down Under!

Hi all,
New member here from Sydney, Australia, and fresh RC Heli addict. This is my first dabble in any RC.
I originally tried getting into this hobby 7-8 years ago after dropping into the LHS and talking to the heli specialist, who offered to help me setup a Walkera 450. Bought it, came back the following week for help... and he had gone to Europe for 3 months. My interest quickly died after repeated self attempts to get it working.

Had a sudden urge 6 months ago to get into the scene, started with a DX6i and Phoenix, then a Blade MCPx BL, and soon after a Blade 450x.

What can I say, it's so addictive! Learning and honing your skills all the time is so rewarding.
I've had a couple of stacks on the MCPx BL, and luckily only a blade hit on the 450x after a 20m auto-rotation, where it bounced slightly and tipped. Had to replace 2 sets of servo gears.
I'm sure a lot of you are the same, in that repairing these beasts and tuning them is also half the fun, and I've learnt a lot from jumping on here checking Helifreaks.

In the near future, I'm hoping to upgrade to a DX8, and a Trex 550e DFC.
