Default BL issue

Posting this again for a friend that is having issues with his BL conversion. Its a helimax motor and conversion from HawkRC. He bought it used from a HF member that claimed it worked. I saw this heli fly and it only lasts for a few seconds before shutting down.

Shouldnt the battery leads be connected to the ESC instead of the back of the 3-1?

Better to have the wires direct to the esc but not mandatory. Heli should work fine like that.

What converter? Where's it powered from?

You're using good packs yeah?

i'd power the 3in1 via the ESC and get yourself some 550mah battery packs if u don't have any and it'll not cut out to due to lack of power again

Hey Amp! Thanks, I think its a 'steve' powered from the ESC, but Ill have to make sure. Ill send this thread to him,

He is using Nano 300mah's. It sounds like it may be the packs from what you guys are saying.

Thanks!

Hey guys. Thanks again IFly for posting. I just had a baby and I never know when I can get on. Yes it is running the steve converter. I am running lightning power 35c 300mah packs. http://www.helihobby.com/product-p/lp200-3527b.htm Should I maybe ditch these packs. I have never actually flown the packs for any length of time since the mcpx just shuts off. So I would think the packs are still perfect.
