Novus DO gyro issue?
Hello,
New here and own a novus FP that is pretty neat. I didn't realize how nimble this is but was getting the hang of it until I experienced tail rotor problems. Basically what started happening was with enough throttle to get airborne the heli would just spin clockwise uncontrollably. It seems like the tail rotor is just over spinning. When I hold it in my hand and apply enough throttle to get the main blades spinning it seems like the gyro works ok. The tail rpm changes if I turn the heli. But once I throttle up it spins too fast torqeing in my hand. Some times when I throttle down I can hear the tail rotor increase speed. Is there anything to fix? Or does it sound like the esc/receiver is shot? If I need a new receiver it seems like a better option to go with the brushless upgrade right? Thanks in advance for the help.
