I had my last two gpro helis, my gob 380 and 570 almost tip on maiden. I went threw setup many times and still missed it. All movements matched on the first screen but on Mt 380 the aileron was reversed and the heli tried tipping at liftoff. I brought it back inside and realized the problem. I was lucky I did not wreck it. On the 570 I had all movements match on screen 1 but I had the tail servo reversed and on liftoff it spun like crazy and mowed the lawn. Slight damage to the tailblades and slight bend in tail spindle. Flew great once corrected in the tail setup screen. You can't fix these problems by using the servo reverse it has to be done in the gpro software. It's nuts how careful you can be and still miss something. After the 380 mishap I said this will never happen again but guess what, it did.

This is the chicken dance

and this is the video showing the problem that caused the crash. The vid is long and I am tired and bummed out so lol.

I contacted align today and am going to mail it out tomorrow. I really like the setup of gpro but searching for a vbar neo 6.1. Not sure if I am going to buy one if I can find it in stock though.

That sucks I feel your pain I just flipped one of my Neo conversions twice because the main blade grips were pinching and never straitened out on spool up. It happens so damn fast there's nothing you can do.

It does looks like a Gpro setup though. Are the channels going in the correct direction on the first page? I've seen a good looking setup go wrong just because the swash is moving ok with the channels wrong and corrected in the swash channel screen but they were incorrect on the first setup screen.
Having to reverse the direction of the gyro means that something is setup wrong either in the radio or the initial zeroing screen. It's pretty much impossible for the sensors to be upside down so I would check over everything before you repeat the mistake.

The Gpro is more forgiving than Vbars it takes a lot more for it to flip itself. Bad main bearing will make a vbar do a chicken dance because it can't handle any vibs.

Damage was one servo arm had a crack right near the ball link, one radius arm, Anti-rotation guide and of course main blades. I decided to replace the boom with new cause I didn't want the battle scars lol. I ca'd the three little dings on the edges of the frame, sanded them down and you can barely see them while looking at them. I bought the blackline 3d blades instead of the stockers. Tore the head apart and checked the shafts on a glass table so not to bad. Hopefully I'll get to fly it next weekend.
I hope you're right either way I'm sure you'll check everything the next time. I spool up now to full rpm with no blades just because of my mistakes. Doesn't take much to screw everything up.
And if the fbl has to be flipped something is seriously wrong.

I can't believe how many times I've spooled up with the tail in the wrong direction I kept forgetting the simple trick that the trailing edge always goes in the direction of the stick.

Just be careful because I still think it's unlikely that the Gpro was reversed.

A goblin is one painful crash even my 380. I think I will cry when my 700 goes in for the first time.

I'll definitely check the swash corrections made by the gyro next time around. I don't really mind putting the 180cfx in but this hurt me. Sorry about your 380. I wouldn't mind having one to replace my 450l I'm selling.
