comes with all wires and the fuse if you plan on using the fuse i would suggest the fuse holder. if you plan on using its BEC you need a prog disc or bt module to program the voltage up (default is 5.6v ) there will be a new interface releasing soon to replace the prog disc if you cant get one.

Richard, what fuse holder?

Do ya'll have an enclosure that handles the fragile fuse assembly?

Thanks

Thanks for the link....

I saw a link somewhere for a fuse holder that the included 160/200A fuse(I think the fuse manuf. is LittleFuse) could be installed in.

The holder housing was some sort of plastic and, I think, it was used for high end auto audio systems.

It would allow one to mount the "fuse assembly", via zip-ties or whatever's your flavor, on the fuse near the ESC, so it's not "hanging" off the end of the Kos negative ESC lug....wihich leads to metal fatigue, etc......which led to the development of the product in the link.

I guess one could fabricate a wire assembly from Kon "lug" wires, so that the fuse assembly in the link could be located on the frame...and use a layer of shrink to cover it up.

Having a device "hanging"(the fuse itself is very fragile), with handling of the wires during a main batt change, is just asking for issues...IMO

Before I saw the holder shown in the link, I used many layers of shrink in an attempt to support the "hanging" fuse...but that's just not right, either.

So, I think I'll be performing some retro-fitting on my 700/800XXs power cable assemblies.....am convinced that the fuse assembly should be mounted to the frame to provide the proper mechanical support to avoid yet...another potential issue...

Live and learn....

FWIW

Pretty much prevents a lipo-driven fire in case of a catastrophic electrical failure or crash.
Will not save the Kosmik, but could save damage beyond the ESC.
