NEW FUNCOPTER
Just got my new Funcopter 3 days ago.. I got the ARF version so I will be needing servo's and a gyro..I also fly planes so I have a couple spare esc's and a nice spektrum rx laying around I will use with my DX6i radio..Any advise as to where to get these parts they don't have to be the best due to I'm still pretty much a novice at heli's and on a slight budget at this time..I have seen prices range from as low as $10 to I had a couple of hobby stores trying to sell me a $250 gyro and tail servo combo's that didn't sound quite right to me but if it is then I'll have to bite the bullet I guess..any advise would be greatly appreciated I'm so looking forward to flying this heli..

I just got one too! Bought 3 new HS82-MG servos shipped on Ebay for $50. Did you get the V2 version or the V1 like me?

new funcopter
The V-1...I got a couple of gift cards to my local hobby store as gifts and couldn't buy any more planes at the time (no more room in the garage)... and the v-1 was the only model they had. I really didn't know there was a v-2 till after I bought this one..I see you can get an upgrade kit to make it a v-2 but I'm still such a novice at helis I'm not too worried about that yet I can fly my blade sr120 around pretty well . I just hope this thing is as easy to fly as advertised..Mine came with the motor only so i'llI need the servos / gyro / esc...any advise on lesser expensive gyros, servos will be greatly appreciated..I do have an extra spektrum rx and esc I will use

You can't go wrong with a Futaba GY401. They work great and will fit into almost any model helicopter that uses a flybar. Beware of the cheap "knockoffs" get a genuine Futaba. Thought you had an ESC ?... I picked up a Hobby King 55amp SS helicopter ESC for less than $20 shipped from the USA on Ebay that is going in mine.
