Default Servo Arm Length

Hey everybody,

Just looking to find out what length servo arms to use on a Logo 600sx. I have Savox 1257tg's on cyclic and a Protek 230s on the tail. I'm using a CGY 750 for now and the instructions are geared for V-bar and 16mm length arms. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Your best bet would be to stick with the manual.

I used the Mikado CF arms on mine, Futaba or JR splines as needed for your servos.

Use the arms holes as indicated in your manual, and you'll be fine.

Don't think it makes a difference which FBL you use.

The 16mm spacing is such that your rotor head can be set properly...and is an
initial starting point, which in most cases works well....at least for my MiniVs...

16mm gets you links parallel to main shaft at mid stick

That's what's important.

Should work well for ANY FNL controller

Definately works well for vbar mini, full size, and hellicommand/BD

The only point I can offer is on my 500-3D & 550-SX using 7200-BX FBL controller & Torq HV cyclic servos, the servo horn holes wanted to be at something shorter than manual rec. Mine ended up at 14mm vs.16mm rec if memory serves. The setup & centering was the same as rec dimensions, but on a subsequent programming step of 7200 setup, after everything is dialed in, you cycle through all the pitch/roll/elev motions to extent of servo throws. In certain combinations I had slight binding at the outer limit throws. Someone told me this is a 7200BX thing (vs servo thing) but I'm not sure. Anyway, I went the next hole shorter & everything worked fine. Still had +12 deg pos/neg pitch, but no more conflicts. This might additionally using full servo throw (resolution), but that's my planker brain talkin.
