If they are smart, they will stay quiet and only announce when they are close to releasing it, rather than posting it up only to miss deadline after deadline and pissing people off like they normally do.

Very true. Don't want them to do like Microsoft. :-)

Their website still shows the 720 Black as "coming soon" and the latest 3.43 installer package says its old version 3.42 while you are installing it (its really 3.43), so I wouldn't really trust any posted release information from them at this point anyway.

They are much better at making things than communication, so the one thing I've learned as a customer is it will be here when it get here

Well I for sure will be buying it, it would be way simpler than having to bring the computer every time I go to the field, not to mention that it would be easier to use there.
I can't wait for it to get out

I have the field terminal which does everything I need, but I'm a sucker for anything cool and new, so Ill jump on board too just because! My worry is Android is easier to deal with on things like this, and all my mobile devices are Apple, so I think I'm going to be dissappointed

=] as a system it drives towards perfection, how that happens is independent of specific time lines, nothing is ever compromised, most of all this is mostly free tech.

I heard just a few weeks away a few months ago....

Frankly any further delay is a good thing for me. If it comes out I will need a new computer to utilize it so please give me a few more months to save up!

Android tablets are cheap and with the SOKO android app coming out later this week (supposedly) and this Skookum BT dongle with Android connectivity the future looks great especially considering winter is almost here in the Northern Hemisphere.

Bluetooth would be great. Depending on the cost I would have a dongle on each heli. I assume you would be able to have a key for each unit. If they make a tablet specific App, it would be nice, if it was laid out the same as the computer program.
