Default 60/220 vs 50/600

How different is the Velocity with a 55-60 engine and 620's vs simply running a 50 with 600's? What's best for an intermediate pilot who flies, say 2.5d (much less than HFG's 2.999999999999999999d)

the Velocity with a new 55/56 motor and 620 blades is just AWESOME. The heli with a YS50ST and 600's for me was good, but once I put my OS55 in it, and 600's it was GREAT. After adding 620's it was awesome.

If you are intermediate and don't want to fly hard or as in my case "try" to fly sorta hard, then I love power and lots of it.

If you want a good compromise, the TT53 with an OS carb mod is a great in between option. Used but like new TT53's are dirt cheap and the OS carb mod really makes this motor a pleasure to tune and has bettere power. You could then choose 600's or 620mm blades IMO.

Best option would be the YS56, outrage pipe, and of course the Velocity. I myself like the Mavrikk G5 Pro 620mm wide cord blades, but many love the SWE630's and speak highly of them.

If you run a YS/OS 50, I would stay with 600mm blades and probably run the 8.8 ratio as well.
